Eshtadur play music heavily influenced by the Gothenburg era as well as taking a bit of their sound from black metal and sprinkling in some symphonic elements too. The album is pretty heavy & very catchy throughout but the symphonic parts feel a little out of place at times and perfectly utilized at others. The guitars are equal parts melody and aggression and the remainder of the band provide enough bombastic back end to equal a full-fledged cannonade. The cover of Survivor's anthemic "Burning Heart", released in 2014 shortly after the death of Survivor vocalist Jimi Jamison, is just incredible.
