Repulsive Vision
Look Past the Gore And See the Art

Another DM release that barely sets itsellf apart from the masses
COMMENTS:
Repulsive Vision is another band that loses itself in the dearth of groups saturating the death metal market. While they stand out a little by utilizing punk and hardcore elements, essentially what they are playing is run-of-the-mill death metal. Think a little Napalm Death with a little early Nasum & there you go. The lyrics are a mix of politically charged anti-censorship and pure silliness. The production really hurts the album by leaving the guitar sounding flat and puny, all but swallows the bass to the point of near non-existence all while focusing on the vocals and drums. The end result is just your typical death meal; nothing new here.
RECOMMENDED FOR FANS OF:
Napalm Death, Nasum
