One of the best records of the year
Comments:
'Show Me a Leader' is essentially what we wanted Queensryche to sound like in the 90s. While it's probably way too saturated in melody for that flannel wearing era, this would have served the band well. Instead it's an Alter Bridge album and one that is earmarked as their finest effort to date. The riffs are original and envelope the listener with loads upon loads of melody. Tremonti is heavy-handed as always but elevates the notes to match Miles Kennedy's uncanny ability. He's easily one of the best singers of our time. Why isn't anyone talking about him? Or the band? Or this record? Damn.
