Rising Steel

Company: Mighty Music
Release: 2016
Genre: Power

French power metal that follows the formula a little too closely
COMMENTS:
French power metal is sort of a rare find. Like fellow-countrymen Nightmare, Rising Steel play a loud and polished blend of modern power metal. While it's all been done to death, the band play it true to the roots with enough conviction to be entertaining. 'Monster' and 'Hell's Control' are a frenzy of groove-oriented speed that sounds a bit like Mystic Prophecy or early Brainstorm. Vocals are similar to Roberto Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, Valley's Eve).
RECOMMENDED FOR FANS OF:
Cage, Metalium, Mystic Prophecy
