Beautiful Misery is a mix of pure rock with each song telling a story in a different way. “Man or Machine” has industrial influences. “Love Hates Me” is more of a modern rock tune, for the younger crowd. Some songs on the album like “Cleansing” are pure rock genius with great hooks that keep you coming back for more like AC/DC. “Disconnected” and “Valium” which is about making everything better by covering it up with a medication, have the best metal hooks on the album and are worth checking out. “Shut it out and make it go away.” is one of the key lines in the song that really keep you on your feet. So does “your meaning lacks existence.” Great hooks that really make you take a look at life. You will either hate or love this band, and if you love the band, you probably won't like all the cuts off the album, but will get into some of them. They are a great rock band that probably has ties to the 80’s metal bands but won't admit it. They have a very distinct sound, that will take them far, given the chance.
