If you're a diehard Hate Eternal fan like I am, the first thing you'll notice about Infernus is the awesome production – something that was really lacking on the last two HE releases. Eric Rutan & company really bring the thunder on this one, creating some of the most epic death metal that I've heard in a long time. New drummer Chason Westmoreland absolutely kills it with his precision blast beats and double bass mastery. Eric's vocals are as sick as ever and the riffs throughout Infernus are some of his best ever. J.J. Hrubovcak's bass is as audible as ever and his efforts are the backbone of this album. This is death metal at its best.
