Formed in 2007, Fracture have spent the last 3 years putting together an album that if it were a movie would be "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". The good? Tony Markou has a delicious, crunchy guitar tone most guitarists would kill for. And David Bellion has tremendous melodic chops and amazing range. The bad? Songs lack structure and promise. The ugly? You'd need to hear it 5 or 6 times before it sinks in since it lacks an addictive factor. Bands like Pagans Mind and Queensryche have shown that Prog Metal can make sense, be catchy and still be clever. Something "Simple Chaos" fails to do.
