Killer British traditional metal with powerhouse vocalist George Call
One of the finest, yet most under-rated singers, grasps the mic for NWOBHM vets Cloven Hoof. George Call (Aska, Omen) steps in with his charismatic vocals to enhance 'Who Mourns for the Morning Star'. The band have gotten heavier in their old age and is reminiscent of stout US vets like Helstar, complete with Call's superior vocal range taking it over the top. It's all produced top notch giving emphasis on vocals and strings – the gifts traditionalists live for. How come this band isn't huge?
