'As Paradise Burns' is the debut from these Costa Rican death merchants. This plays out very similar to Children of Bodom crossed with something rising from the permafrost. It's dark and dreary with the aggressive growls, yet the orchestral backing tracks make it slightly more elevated and ethereal. The riffs are balanced between groove stomps, breakdowns, and faster chord progressions. Scathing in its assailment, Adrenal are an interesting brood.
