Fresh off the heels of their somewhat disappointing covers EP release, Coverfield, Germany's Caliban is back in full swing with I Am Nemesis. On their 8th full-length album, Caliban brings back the pummeling riffs, gang vocals, and stellar musicianship to show that they just keep getting better with age. As one of the pioneers in the Metalcore genre, they still display their metalcore roots, but venture out more into melody, keyboard fills, and death metal sounds in various spots. Metalcore and groove metal fans should definitely pick up this album. Even if you're new to Caliban, this is a great 'starting point' album to pick up.
