Mark Tremonti continues to keep busy with the touring behind Creed, the mammoth work load of Alter Bridge and this solo effort. 'A Dying Machine' should find plenty of likes and love from the fan base, capturing what has become the typical hard rock/slightly progressive sound from the band. I can't say I've been enamored with any of these solo albums, but I continue to play them and search for that "they finally nailed it" moment. Interesting, this album is paired with a novel written by both Tremonti and John Shirley.
