So with 'Omnipotence', I was a little disappointed overall with this 5-song EP. The music is pretty decent, a good mix of chunky and technical with a bit of melody thrown in. The vocals are a mix of growls, rasps and snarls, just what you would expect on an extreme metal release. The production is where things really hit a snag. The overall tone is fairly muddled with everything sounding like it's being played at a lower frequency and makes it really hard to hear anything clearly at all. If the production was more crisp and clean, this would be a damn good EP but with the production issues present, it was hard for me to really get into.
