Heavy-handed riffs, a sense of urgency and melodic hard rock
Fifth album for these 30-year Nottingham veterans. Wraith break a 10-year silence with a triumphant return to form on 'Revelation'. Big blocks of solid grooves and spot-on vocals erupt with stirring opener "Lifeline". Heavy-handed riffs, a sense of urgency and a metallic approach to melodic hard rock makes Wraith nearly mandatory. Album highlight "Invasion" is my jam, dressed to perfection with an emphasis on the big chorus. It's harmonized vocals and over the aural riffage matches the album's explosive artwork. Fitting.
