Only two songs to this Holy Grail special release, so I expected it to really rip the cheer off my face and the sparkle from my jingle bells. No Presents for Christmas is a King Diamond classic that fits the theme, but I see no holiday connection with Rainbow's Kill the King. Tons of bands have covered it, but HG slays every version I've heard (the closest comparison being a old version by Heathen). Seasons Bleedings succeeds thanks to the classic metal screaming of James-Paul Luna and a rhythmic power thrash approach that rumbles like an avalanche down the metal mountain. Overall a solid, fun release from a talented, young band.
