Danish act Evil has reached cult status with the underground faithful and metal collectors. The band's first release, 'Evil's Message', was released in 1984. Since then the band has been on hiatus with band mainman Freddie Wolf involved in other projects. Wolf finally entered the studio and played all instruments for 'Shoot the Messenger', officially the group's debut full-length. Wolf hired longtime friend Soren Adamsen (ex-Artillery) to provide his charismatic clean vocal style to the record. The end result is a bombastic, groovy exercise in traditional heavy metal sure to please fans of Judas Priest and Accept.
