Death metal is my go-to genre like a delicious steak dinner. When you add in old school to the description of the band, my interest piques even higher. In addition to a really cool album title and some killer artwork, Feral's sophomore effort, "Where Dead Dreams Dwell" is a solid slab of Swedish death goodness. Predictable, yet pulverizing, the band rips through tracks like "Creatures Among the Coffins", "The Crawler" and "Mass Resurrection". While there's no real separation from genre greats, Feral deliver their own take with a passion and zeal that is both infectious and easily felt in the music. Fans of the genre will eat this one up.
