Cemetery Winds is run by the talented Janne Lukka. He's listed as drums-guitars and the promotional band photo is just him. The band features two guest vocalists contributing from bands like Sepulchral Curse and Nashorn. My hat is tipped to Lukka for capturing the magic of the early 90's melodic death metal scene. The band's debut is a nostalgic throwback to early albums from Amorphis and Dissection. The chainsaw riffs incorporate black metal while the pace and vocals are representative of death (early Swedish specifically). It's high speed extreme but slows down for some warmer atmosphere, notably 'Realm of the Open Tombs'.
