Intense, powerful metal to keep the blood flow going
Ukraine's Drudkh continue to amaze me with their career-long consistency of putting out impressive albums. On their eleventh full-length album, 'The Often See Dreams About The Spring', they are able to successfully combine melody with cold, bleak riffs to keep each track interesting and without sounding the same. Although they are firmly planted in post black metal, they don't hold back with the blast beats and the shrieking vokills. As with most of their other releases, there are no filler tracks, just intense, powerful metal to keep the blood flow going. I highly recommend giving this one a spin if Post Black Metal is your thing.
