Tandjent's release of "No One Will Hear Us" is a raw and energy-infused CD that is comprised of a heavily driven guitar and deep growling lyrics. Self-mastered and mixed, the CD is a clean structural sounding board integrated with the the brash sound of thrash metal and traditional heavy metal. Their roots show with the reminiscants of bands like Testament and Meshuggah but they are only roots. Tanjent has developed it's own stylings and sound that make it distinguishable and unique.

The riffs are prime, especially in Gasoline Finder, I Remain and No One Will Hear Us and it certainly doesn't hinder Tanjent that the professional quality they've put into their sound resounds throughout the CD itself. No One Will Hear Us has its own sound and progressive style. There is a sound here for everyone that enjoys the heavy metal feel. The composition is, at times, extremely technical while at other times you get what is a decidedly abstract feel.

No One Will Hear Us carries you through progressive and hard rock right into an evolutionary style of metal. You do not have to enjoy heavy lyricism to appreciate the sound that makes this CD so cohesive. Tanjent has an original sound that many attempt, but few succeed at.
