Aggressive power-thrash
Seven albums in thirteen years makes this Italian chop shop a very active member of the modern metal circuit. Unfortunately this new album is only available in Japan as the band have yet to acquire a Euro or North America deal. It's a shame that a band like Arthemis haven't really hit their stride in terms of popularity. While other acts like Brainstorm and Primal Fear play this sort of groovy power-thrash to the masses these Italians are really low on the totem pole. Nevertheless the band release another quality recording in "We Fight".
The album provides tons of grinding grooves and solos, all crisp and polished through a modern production job that is really up front with the strings and double bass. This is the second album to feature singer Fabio D. and his vocals are very similar to Niklas Isfeldt of Dream Evil. In fact the whole album is like a cross of early Dream Evil crossed with the modern scraping of Metalium. Throw in a measured dose of thrash and you have "We Fight". This is an aggressive power-thrash album that should appeal to fans of Mystic Prophecy and Chainsaw.
