Extremely heavy music that is just a little off the mark
Extremity's namesake is appropriate for this band as they come out with the amps turned up to 11 and aim to just completely annihilate your eardrums. The guitars are some of the heaviest I've heard in awhile, the vocals are a bit on the grindcore side and the overall feel of the album is just a disturbing endeavor of heavy. That being said though, the songs lack a lot of diversity and tend to run together a little bit. With only 5 songs, that's just a bit depressing. Adding a bit of diversity in there will help Extremity carve out their own niche but this was still a very enjoyable listen for the sheer heaviness of the album.
