Vega is the Guinness World Record holder for fastest speed ever recorded on the guitar. This album shows that there is much more to his playing than just raw speed however, with a hybrid of Latin, Jazz, and Metal styles. Track six Distant Dreams is basically a straight-up Jazz number, while Lost and Acalanto rely on heavy riffs. And throughout all this, there are constant undercurrents of Latin rhythm, even on his rendition of Caprice 24, that gives him a very unique sound.
Track 7 is the show-stopping The Flight of the Bumblebee which should make everyone that hears this album realize: you can't argue with a statement of perfection.
