If you like your death metal with a little age on it, like a finely cured piece of meat, then Guillotine is serving up choice cuts for you with their self titled release. I could write an entire paragraph on the riffs off this album alone but suffice it to say, this album resides in riff city. Some very evil death vocals and serious guitar solos add some spice to this metal stew. The production has that vintage feel to it and hits those nostalgia sweet spots very nicely. I really enjoyed this one and definitely recommend fans of death metal old and new to go out and add this one to their collection.
