Seven Thorns are a fairly new act out of Denmark and this album is their sophomore effort and first for Nightmare Records. This is a paint by numbers outfit that play it extremely safe. The Danes run through familiar ground tread by Helloween, Gamma Ray and Freedom Call. It isn't as good as its predecessors and the whole thing comes out rather complacent. This may appeal to the rookies out there that aren't terribly familiar with Euro metal.
