StD&LB is arguably their best since Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood (2008) with the variety of Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil (2007). The Country & Western themes of the prior release have been replaced with esoteric spirits floating in and out. Look for Canadian rocker Danko Jones and the return of Johan Olsen with covers from Teenage Bottlerocket and The Georgia Satellites. Volbeat is slowly conquering the world.
