Its only the end of the world again!
Dax is back with another band. The trademark Acid Bath sound is here somewhat but the songs are more centered around a depressive theme. The lyrics are very poetic seeing as how none of them make a damn bit of sense. A remake of the old song Dead Girl is on this one from Acid Bath's Paegan Terrorism Tactics. A lot slower and just mellow as fuck. I think if our other reviewer EC heard this he would say "oh it sounds like Pink Floyd".
Granted this album is experimental and soft in many terms its still good to just sit back and take it in. The rest of the band seems to flow just as well as Dax's singing which complements the whole feel of the album. All in all I would have to say that this is one of those cds that when you leave a metal show and need something to relax to you could just pop this one in your cd player.
