I was hoping "13" would take me back to a classic time for metal--lofty goals with the recycling out there. While there were many things not to like, there are enough to make it worth listening to. Once you get past the first 8+ minute songs (I haven't been able to do anything for 16 min. straight for a long time) it does show improvement with the best two tracks for me being Age of Reason and Damaged Soul. I imagine it is hard to recapture the anger and passions after so many years, but they did the best job of capturing the Sabbath sound of the 70's. "13" is Sabbath-Light or Diet Sabbath where they capture the sound not the emotions.
