This is the second album from Germany's Doomshine. The four piece serves up a fuzzy and downtuned style that fits perfectly side by side with the likes of Candlemass and Count Raven with the obvious influences from Black Sabbath. Most of the songs here weigh in at eight minutes or longer, making the songs very complex in structure. Often the group competes head to head with more melodic acts like Solitude Aeturnus and Trouble. "River Of January" shows the "Dehumanizer" era of Sabbath while songs like "Doomshine Serenade" is placed with a more atmospheric and creepy vibe. The album is available through Massacre Records.
