Brazilian godfathers of extreme death metal prove defiance
For over 28 years now, Brazilian extreme death metal titans Krisiun have proven that they are one of the most consistently vicious band on the planet. Although 2015's 'Forged In Fury' wasn't well received by fans due to it's over production and slower tempo's, 'Scourge Of The Enthroned' is return to the days of 'Ageless Venomous' and 'Apocalyptic Revelation'. With a playing time just under 40 minutes, Krisiun doesn't waste any time blasting into action. Throughout the whole album, the riffs and drumming are always on point, and Alex never sounded better vocally. The production brings out a destructive quality in the music without sounding too over produced. All in all, this is one of Krisiun's best albums and I highly recommend this for fans of brutal death metal.
