Thrash is back in style apparently.
This is Dew Scented's sophomore release and is chock full of old school thrash. Lots of people will say "Oh they just sound like somebody else" or "I can think of five other bands that sound like them". Well so fucking what!! Nowadays, there isn't much variety floating around in the metal world and you just stick with what you like. If you don't like it then don't listen to it. But enough with the small rant.
Dew Scented is fast and brutal. If you are planning on driving and listening to this album, use extreme caution because this album will cause you to speed and become enraged while playing ensues. Fast, melodic guitars, bombastic drum beats and Haunted style vocals comprise this CD. For fans of thrash this something you will thoroughly enjoy. The best thing I can say for those of you who are looking for something heavy but not repetitous is to give this CD a listen.
If you are a fan of The Haunted, then you will definitely like this album. It is very reminiscent of "The Haunted Made Me Do It". So much so that there is a song that almost resembles "Bury Your Dead" that appears on the aforementioned album. Check out this CD if you want something fast and melodic.
