Usually when you see a full-length album consisting of just 2 songs, funeral doom metal (or some fusion proggy stuff from the 70's) comes to mind. However, on Mors Secunda - the second album from Terra - those 2 songs are a relentless mix of post-metal and black metal that do not slow down for one second. Each song coming in at 19+ minutes, are a montage of tremolo-picking black metal riffs, blast beats, sparse vokills and a touch of post metal overtones to keep things interesting. This is an excellent album to cap off a year of outstanding metal releases. I look forward to hearing more chaos from the lads from across the pond.
