This is the third effort from one of Sweden’s fastest rising hard rock acts. The band chose to record ‘Babylon’s Burning’ with Chris Laney (Zan Clan, Animal) at the famed Polar Studios (Led Zeppelin, Ramones) in Stockholm. Laney’s experience and club rock know-how was probably a valuable asset for these sleaze anthems. The percussion has plenty of room to breathe, loose from the hip with mid-paced hands holding these bluesy riffs together. The group’s lead single, “Liberation”, is tight with the harmonized gang chants and a Guns 'n Roses styled orchestral backing track. Cuts like “Resurrection Love” add a bit of texture to the blues, combining the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers with Hanoi Rocks.
